About Us
the IRL story
Vivariia, or Vivaria at the time, was started as a passion project late 2022 between Nova and Melody, a pair of childhood friends.It was a slow start, but with some help from a music-writing friend, the two fresh-faced idols were able to debut at Ramencon October 2023 with their first single, Monochrome Wing.Their debut was a success, even though Melody was getting over a cold and had to leave the singing to Nova, and soon they decided to look for a third member to even out the group. They soon found Fraga, a skilled costume designer that Melody knew through a club at her college.It was then that Melody took up minor songwriting, and wrote the group's first three person song, Lilium, Though it wouldn't be performed outside of solo performances until later.The group of three eventually decided that five would be the ideal number for an idol group, and pulled in a couple of friends they knew from the idol community, Noelle and Indigo. This was when Melody wrote their first full group song, Nightlight.They began planning for their first live performance as a full group, and eventually were able to perform all of their songs together at ACen 2024, which was a huge stepping stone for them in their journey!As of right now, they're currently planning two more live performances before the end of 2024, so be sure to keep up with them so you don't miss it!
